Book Review - Fearless

Fearless is written by Max Lucado who is a New York Times
best selling author. In a world where we are bombarded with
fear via the media with economical downturns, environmental
issues, and even troubled by raging storms in our daily lives.
We are encouraged and find strength in the pages of this book
as the author reminds us of biblical lessons that are not only
practical in our daily lives but give us hope in the midst of
the storms. Max Lucado's book gives us understanding in
a world that seems to be gripped by fear. Fearless is a timely
book. You will find it a splendid read and a book you will want
to share with others. Imagine living a life where you can trust
more and fear less. Max Lucado tells us that fear may fill your
world, but it doesn't have to fill your heart. Jesus declared,
" Don't be afraid, take courage. I am here ! " The book Fearless

Book Review - The Noticer

The Noticer is written by The New York Times best selling Author
Andy Andrews. It is a wonderful book about a drifter named Jones,
who has a gift called perspective. Throughout the book individuals
encounter Jones and find insight and inspiration for their lives.
Jones imparts wisdom seeing things. The Noticer has a reputation
of honesty, wisdom, and humor that he shares with those he comes
in contact with. He deals with matters of the heart on every level.
The reader will be inspired throughout each page of this splendid
book. Each chapter offers the reader practical perspective for daily
living. Jones notices things that most people overlook.

The Noticer is published by Thomas Nelson and is a great read.
I found it difficult to put down once I began to read this book.
What everyone needs is perspective, a broader view. The greatest
gift that one can impart to others is a gift that will meet the individual's
need at that very moment. Jones does just that in The Noticer.
This is a book I will read more than once. A book I will recommend
to others. Everyone can use some perspective on the road we call
life. Read The Noticer and you will see things that most people overlook.

Big Country Small Population

When one ponders the eminency of the wilderness here in Canada.
You begin to realize how vast this country really is. Canada for so many years
was the second largest country in the world in square miles. This was before
Russia became fragmented. I would wonder now that their land mass has
been divided if Canada now has moved into the number one category ?
The greatest percentage of the Canadian population lives in the Southern
area near the U.S. border. The rest of this vast domain is sparsely populated.
When we were the second largest country in square miles the word was out
that if each Canadian would get his divided portion of this country it would equate
to each citizen having 48 square miles of land. All in all this would make for one quiet and tranquil neighborhood and a peaceful habitation with a wide expanse for a buffer zone.
I might add before I sign off. If you have not been up North or to this pristine wilderness
country. I would like to offer you an invite to come up hither and enjoy the great outdoors.

Paradise Found

Warm weather has come to the Interior of British Columbia. It has been a late Spring and now everything is a hum as all creation puts on a new attire of young tendrils. All things are indeed a new. It is for the moment Nature at her best after being dormant over the Winter months. The air is fresh and the sun has again warmed the earth. The wildflowers appear again on the hills surrounded by dense pine tree forests. All of God's creation is in full splendor under a blue ethereal sky. What a glorious time to venture out and walk in such picturesque landscape. Our 90-mile glacial lake shimmers like a myriad of diamonds under a bright warm Sun. Going out one is coming in to a beautiful encounter of the finest kind.
